Todd Foxwood’s fascination with nature began in his childhood, where he spent much of his time outside in the fields and forests around his home. Inspired by the creative power of God and coinciding with his love of studying the weather, making observations and taking statistics has always been a way of life. Todd pursued formal education in atmospheric science, which further deepened his understanding and appreciation of the natural world and introduced him to the wonders of nature photography. Today, he owns his childhood home and wanders the same woods, still discovering new things and noting how ecosystems evolve and change over the decades. Todd has a special love of foxes, birds, and the powerful beauty of storm clouds. Todd is also a fiction writer for middle-grade children and their families, focusing on fantastical worlds full of memorable animal characters, wonderous settings, and powerful, exciting plots.
